MediRec is seeking experienced Assistants in Nursing (AINs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a number of residential aged care facilities across the Tweed Heads region on a casual basis.
Whether you’re looking for a few extra shifts each week or regular agency work, we can help you build a roster that suits your availability and lifestyle.
Duties
AINs
- Provide high quality personal care and support to residents
- Assist with mobility, meals and activities of daily living
- Maintain accurate documentation and report resident changes
- Work collaboratively with nursing and care teams
- Help create a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents
Registered Nurses
- Deliver high quality clinical care in a residential aged care setting
- Complete assessments, care plans and clinical documentation
- Administer medications and manage clinical incidents
- Provide leadership and support to care staff
- Ensure residents receive safe, person-centred care
Skills & Experience
AINs
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- Full working rights in Australia
- Recent aged care experience (minimum 3-6 months in Australia)
- Up-to-date Flu and COVID vaccinations
- Reliable and professional approach to care
Registered Nurses
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Full working rights in Australia
- Recent aged care experience (minimum 3-6 months in Australia)
- Up-to-date Flu and COVID vaccinations
- Strong clinical and communication skills
