Luke began his recruitment career straight out of school at 18, one of the rare few who actively chose the industry rather than stumbled into it. He cut his teeth in London, placing doctors of all grades and specialties across the UK-essentially, anywhere with an NHS service. After nearly eight years in the UK medical recruitment space, he made the move to Australia.
Landing in 2018, Luke quickly immersed himself in the Australian healthcare market, developing a strong interest in Rural Generalism. He found purpose in supporting the smaller, often underserved communities throughout the country-introducing him to a different kind of doctor, many of whom he still partners with today to serve regional towns across Australia.
When Covid hit, inter-state travel proved difficult so Luke pivoted from medical recruitment into the broader healthcare sector, with a particular focus on aged care. It sparked a genuine passion for supporting the elderly by providing compassionate nurses and care staff in what he describes as an incredibly meaningful and rewarding space.
In today’s highly competitive, candidate-short market, Luke thrives on delivering exceptional people-those who genuinely care-to the facilities that need them most.
