MediRec is seeking experienced Registered Nurses and Personal Carers to support a residential aged care facility in Ceduna, SA on a temporary and casual basis. You’ll join a welcoming team committed to delivering high quality care and making a real difference to residents’ lives.
Whether you’re available for one shift a week or multiple shifts, we’d love to hear from you. We can work around your availability.
For Registered Nurses, hospital experience is welcome. If you’re new to aged care, the facility is happy to provide support and training during your first few shifts to help you transition into the role.
Alongside casual and temporary work, MediRec also offers 4-12 week travel contracts across Australia, giving you the flexibility to combine local shifts with travel opportunities when it suits your lifestyle and career goals.
Duties
- Deliver high quality care to residents in a residential aged care setting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (Personal Carers)
- Complete accurate documentation and handovers
- Administer medications and manage clinical care (Registered Nurses)
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team to provide safe, person-centred care
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Skills and experience
- Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurses) or Cert III in Individual Support (or equivalent) for Personal Carers
- Full working rights in Australia
- Recent aged care experience preferred for Personal Carers
- Registered Nurses with hospital experience are encouraged to apply
- Up-to-date Flu and COVID vaccinations
- A compassionate and reliable approach to resident care
